Sports wooden floor laying, five problems need to be solved

A popular saying in the sports wood flooring industry is 'three points depend on quality, seven points depend on installation'. There is a mistake in the installation process, no matter how good the quality of the wooden floor is, it is 'no good'. However, for a long time, consumers simply pay more attention to the product than to the installation technology and accessories. Relevant experts remind that five situations should be prevented when laying wooden floors.
1. Prevent the assembly from being too loose or too tight
When buying wood, be sure to go to a regular manufacturer, not an unknown manufacturer. Because the wood of regular manufacturers is generally dried at the place of origin, and then shipped in containers, the regular manufacturers are directly processed for further processing, and then transported to the construction venue, which reduces the chance of the wood getting wet. If you are still not at ease, you may wish to use a hygrometer to test the humidity of the wood when purchasing, so that you can wholesale the wooden floor of the basketball hall without any loss. It should be reminded that after the wood is bought back, it should be placed in the house for two or three days, and the construction should be carried out after it adapts to the ground. Before construction, the ground should be kept dry and a moisture-proof layer should be laid. In this way, the wood will basically no longer have the problem of deformation.

2. Prevent the fixing method of using wooden wedges and iron nails
The use of wooden wedges and iron nails during construction will result in insufficient nail-holding force due to the too small contact surface between the wooden wedges and the iron nails, which will easily cause the wooden keel to loosen and make noise when stepping on the floor.
3. Prevent inconsistency between the length of the floor and the direction of the door
At the time of construction, it must be noted that the length of the floor should be consistent with the orientation of the entrance to ensure a good visual effect.
4. Prevent uneven ground
Ensure that the floor is dry, flat and free of debris. Usually, the floor installation should be done after other decoration works are completed. Uneven floor will cause some floors and keels to hang in the air, and there will be noise when stepping on it.
5. Prevent the keel from drying out
The moisture content of the undried wood keel is usually about 25%, while the moisture content of the qualified wood floor is generally 12%. If the humidity difference is too large, the wood floor will absorb moisture quickly, causing the floor to arch and the paint surface to burst. During construction, the floor is laid first, and then other constructions are carried out on the floor. But in this way, after the floor is laid, it often takes a month or more to sand and paint. During this period, no measures were taken to isolate the water vapor and chemicals from the floor and the surrounding environment, which may cause the wooden floor to deform due to the rapid change of moisture content.
