How to judge whether the sports wood floor is environmentally friendly

The "Ten Green Rings" logo is a certification trademark, which can prove that the wood floors produced by certified manufacturers are environmentally friendly. At present, some social organizations are also issuing various environmental protection standard certifications, but due to insufficient authority, inconsistent distribution standards, and insufficient product supervision, it is difficult to become a yardstick for measuring environmental protection products.

"Be sure to look at the test report to see if the formaldehyde content meets the prescribed standards." To look closely at the floor test report, in addition to the formaldehyde content marked on it, it also depends on the test category. Usually the inspection category is ** supervision inspection or enterprise commissioned sampling inspection, the reliability is higher than that of submitted inspection, and the formaldehyde emission of qualified products is within the safe range.

As far as the types of wood floors are concerned, among the three common types of floors: solid wood floors, solid wood composite floors and laminate floors, the most environmentally friendly wood floors are solid wood floors, but this does not mean that solid wood composite floors and laminate floors are not environmentally friendly wood floors. In July 2002, the new national standard stipulates that the floor formaldehyde emission is less than or equal to 1.5mg/L, which is in line with the new national standard and meets the requirements of indoor environmental protection and health. As long as the floors that meet this requirement are environmentally friendly wooden floors, and the smaller the formaldehyde content, the more environmentally friendly.

There are two simple ways to identify whether the formaldehyde exceeds the standard: Saw a new section of the wooden floor, smell and look carefully, if there is a pungent smell or a dazzling feeling, it must be a substandard product with excessive formaldehyde, and vice versa. Basically, it can be determined that it is an environmentally friendly product. In addition, consumers can soak the top of a small sample in boiling water for 1-3 minutes to see if there is a pungent smell. Environmentally friendly wood floors generally do not smell pungent odors due to their low formaldehyde emission. If the irritating odor is strong and even makes the eyes feel uncomfortable, it proves that the substrate of the floor contains more free formaldehyde.

In addition to the fact that the floor itself contains formaldehyde, which will pollute the indoor environment, the installation problem cannot be ignored when choosing a floor. If the installation is not standardized, it will also affect the environment. In addition, if the adhesive in the floor does not meet the standard, it will also cause indoor formaldehyde pollution. Therefore, when choosing wooden floors with good environmental performance, consumers should also pay attention to environmental protection and cleanliness in related processes, so as to ensure the comfort and health of the home environment from all aspects.
