sports wood floor
1. Size and deviation: The requirements for the width and thickness of the floor in the national standard cannot be deviated. In actual operation, a deviation of 0.4 mm in thickness, 0.3 mm in width and one thousandth in length is allowed. However, there are also 17mm boards in the sports wood flooring industry, and the price is 10 to 15 yuan per square meter cheaper, mostly because there is a deviation in one processing, and then the planed board is processed. But if the national standard is 18 mm, but it is actually much worse, then this is a kind of fraud, so you might as well take a few pieces after you get the floor.
2. Deviation of shape and position: It can be clearly seen by the ruler that the edge of the floor is seriously inclined. It is good to have one or two pieces of such a floor. It is difficult to lay more and affects the appearance. Horizontal and vertical, regular size, this is the basic requirements of the floor. After unpacking the purchased wooden floor, take out several pieces to simulate the assembly, and observe the condition of the tongue and groove, the assembly gap, and the height difference between adjacent boards.
3. Appearance quality requirements: The appearance quality of the board is one of the important basis for floor classification. In the national standard of "Solid Wood Flooring", the grades are divided into first-class, first-class, and qualified products, but at present, they are basically unified as qualified products in the market. When purchasing, check whether there are material defects such as cracking, decay, dead joints, insect eyes, blue change, missing edges, etc., and usually do not need to be too demanding about chromatic aberration, joints, texture, etc., which are the natural properties of wood. In addition, the color addition board satisfies some people's preferences, but it also prevents some manufacturers from filling in color and shoddy.
4. Paint: For the sports wood flooring industry, one less paint is applied, which saves paint money, labor costs, and time, but consumers cannot see it, and the difference between good and bad can only be seen after use. There are also poor quality paints, which can easily cause the floor finish to peel off and crack. The national standard has requirements for the surface wear resistance, hardness, and adhesion of the paint board, and you should choose a floor with a uniform, smooth, smooth paint surface, no paint leakage, no bubbling, and no cracking when purchasing.
5. Moisture content: The requirement for the floor moisture content in the national standard is between 7 and 15.6%, and the span is very large, and most manufacturers can achieve it. In addition to improper handling by the manufacturer, the unqualified moisture content of the floor is related to the high humidity of the environment at the paving site and improper moisture-proof measures. Therefore, getting a floor with a suitable moisture content is the first step, and good pavement moisture-proof and reasonable maintenance in the later period are also necessary.
6. Paving: The complaints caused by the paving are more than the quality problems of the floor itself. There are factors such as poor paving technology, substandard accessories, and some owners are too picky. At present, there are "Acceptance Specifications for Laying Surface Layers of Wooden Floors" and related laying standards, and try to make sure who sells and who lays. The owner should be present when paving, and check the keel first to see if it is flat and firm, and whether it is nailed or cracked. Then, wait for the floor to be put on the floor before acceptance, and check the flatness, gap size and height difference, and whether there is any noise.
7. Name specification: Some of the non-standard names are due to the customary name, which is difficult to correct in a short time, and some are deliberately made by manufacturers to have slightly similar colors and patterns, but different quality materials.Qualitative confusion, using information asymmetry between buyers and sellers to gain benefits. At present, relevant departments are strictly investigating and punishing the problem of non-standard names according to the "China's Main Imported Timber List" and other standards.
8. After-sale service: The warranty of the wooden floor is the responsibility of the floor installer. Now the warranty period of most manufacturers is one year. Responsibilities are defined according to different degrees after problems such as arching, blue change, moth-eaten cracking, paint quality, board damage, and board discoloration occur. The use and maintenance of the owner is also very important. Through regular cleaning, waxing, mopping the floor with a non-drip mop, to prevent long-term exposure to sunlight, moving heavy objects, etc., it is advisable to lift, do not drag.
